Women Engineers Web Resources

Women in Engineering Organization. WIEO.org was created because the field of engineering needs more women who can bring innovative ideas to the industry.

Women in Engineering Programs & Advocates Network. WEPAN's mission is to be a catalyst for change to enhance the success of women in the engineering profession.

Society of Women Engineers. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women. The University of Toledo has a SWE student chapter.

Women's Engineering Society.  Promoting the education, training and practice of engineering among women. 

MentorNet.  MentorNet is the award-winning nonprofit e-mentoring network that addresses the retention and success of those in engineering, science and mathematics, particularly but not exclusively women and other underrepresented groups.

Association for Women in Science and Engineering.  AWiSE is a multi-disciplinary membership organization composed of individuals, businesses, associations, institutions and other organizations, all of whom share the common goal of advancing the interests of women in science, engineering and technology.

Women In Technology International. WITI's mission is to empower women worldwide to achieve unimagined possibilities and transformations through technology, leadership and economic prosperity.

Engineer Girl, from The National Academy of Engineering. A site for parents, teachers, engineers and others interested in helping girls discover the opportunities in engineering careers.

Nerd Girls. A site designed to encourage other girls to change their world through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, while embracing their feminine power.
