A Bigger and Better Gallery and Lecture Series for 2024-25
The University of Toledo Libraries is excited to announce our Gallery Series and Carlson Conversations Lecture Series for the 2024-25 academic year.
After the success of the inaugural gallery and lecture series, the University Libraries is expanding on both for next year. The Gallery Series will expand from 6 shows to 8, while the Carlson Conversation Lecture Series will expand from 4 to 6.
The University Libraries Gallery Series began in August 2023 with 6 shows and one gallery. Next year it returns with 8 shows spread across two galleries in the Carlson Library. Beginning in August 2024 the Gallery Series will feature a regular schedule of shows listed below:

The University Libraries Carlson Conversations Lecture Series returns for the 2024-25 academic year. This year the libraries will bring in 6 lectures to cover a wide range of topics from local history to craft beer to A.I. Beginning in September the lecture series will feature:

the 2024-25 University Libraries Gallery Series
The University of Toledo Libraries is excited to announce our Gallery Series for the 2024-25 academic year.
After the success of the inaugural gallery series, the University Libraries is expanding from 6 shows to 8 across two galleries, the North Gallery and South Gallery.
The series opens with two local Toledo artists, Steve Athanas and Ben Morales, before diving into the work of UToledo faculty, staff, and students over the next three shows. The series closes out the year with a return of the Undergraduate Film Festival, an exploration of generative AI art, and a show of historic midcentury automobile ads in partnership with the Canaday Center.
The 2024-25 Carlson Conversations Lecture Series
The University Libraries Carlson Conversations Lecture Series returns for the 2024-25 academic year. This year the libraries will bring in 6 lectures to cover a wide range of topics from local history to craft beer to A.I.
All of the lectures in the Carlson Conversation Series will be held in the Carlson Library Main Event Space (CL1005) and are free to attend.
